Bethlehem’s Sun Inn, a 1758 landmark that draws heritage tourists and ghost hunters, is attracting a very different kind of spirit.

A startup distillery business, Christmas City Spirits, wants to make aged whiskey and brandy at the historic haunt.

Brett Biggs, one of the seven principals, said the group plans to open a tasting room and distill on-site, at 564 Main St., but because the liquor takes time to age, opening it to the public would be two years off once all the licensing is in place.
